And does it seems like xisco really is so useless that every season we loan him out, and yet no one buys him? Y on earth did they sell enrique off without buying someone to replace him first? PSV Eindhoven boss Fred Rutten reluctantly cleared the way for Erik Pieters to join Newcastle for £6million to replace Jose Enrique.
'I would lie in the road to stop him leaving but I fear I cannot block his transfer to Newcastle,' said Rutten.

Jose stated he always wanted to join them, at least his 1st choice. Any money they offered would be tempting. If we wait any longer it could only go lower.

If he was a attack[ng player perhaps he can go for around 10M like Zoggy who like Jose only had a year left. Look at it another way a short while ago Judas went for 35M. Add 6M and on average each were sold for 20.5M. To me neither are worth anywhere near.

Mali international Modibo Maiga has told Sochaux he wants to join Newcastle United.

Newcastle are said to have made an €8 million bid for Maiga, 23, and the forward refused to play for his club during the defeat to Caen at the weekend.

Sochaux have offered Maiga an improved contract but he told L'Equipe: "Before the Newcastle offer I had not been offered anything.
